Something Wrong? Let's Make it Rite.
Don't Worry. It's UMZU.
All UMZU products are backed by the research, time and care needed to produce a supplement that really works.
Thyrite was developed by top natural chemists, led by Christopher Walker, founder of UMZU and the first person to graduate from Duke University in 3 years with a Neuroscience degree.
Thyrite is a blend of natural vitamins, minerals and herbs shown to increase production of thyroid hormone.
The thyroid is often overlooked, but a poorly functioning thyroid can prevent weight loss, cause acne and even cause hair to fall out! Often those with unhealthy thyroid glands are prescribed synthetic thyroid hormone. This is a band-aid solution that may cause your thyroid to produce less hormone on it's own.
Instead, stimulate your body's own production with Thyrite - a blend of natural vitamins, minerals and herbs shown to increase production of thyroid hormone.

Natural Thyroid-Boosting Ingredients
1. Magnesium
Magnesium has been heavily studied in correlation with thyroid gland function.
In rats fed a magnesium-deficient diet, there was a statistically significant increase in thyroid size when fed magnesium.
Studies have also been conducted on infant and adult humans confirming the correlation. (Study, Study, Study, Study)
2. Zinc & Copper
Studies show that Zinc supplementation appears to have a favorable effect on thyroid hormone levels, particularly total T3, and resting metabolic rate.
Copper is needed for the reproduction of thyroid cells. Women in particular seem to highly benefit from copper supplementation. In one study, levels of copper were associated with increased levels of TT3 and TT4. (Study, Study, Study)
3. Iodine & Selenium
Those predisposed with poor Thyroid function who supplemented with iodine have been shown to have significant changes in Thyroid function.
In addition, inadequate supply of Selenium has been associated with disturbances in the thyroid hormone axis.
In one study, when pregnant women supplemented with selenium the prevalence of hypothyroidism was greatly decreased. (Study, Study, Study)
4. KSM-66 Ashwagandha & Forskolin
Ayurvedic herbs are often used as complements to the modern day treatment of hypothyroidism.
This is due to findings that the ashwagandha root extract stimulates thyroidal activity and also enhances the antiperoxidation of hepatic tissue.
Forskolin has also been shown to increase maturation of the thyroid. Forskolin seems to induce absolute and relative secretion of T3 and T4. (Study, Study, Study, Study, Study, Study, Study)
5. Tyrosine & Taurine
The thyroid gland combines tyrosine and iodine to make thyroid hormone. Supplementing with the combination of the two has been shown to greatly increase thyroid hormone production.
Research also shows that taurine supplementation may play a protective role against the increased oxidative stress resulting from hypothyroidism. (Study, Study, Study, Study, Study)
6. Vitamin B3
Thyroid issues cause your body to go through oxidative stress that is important to regulate.
Niacin contributes to the glutathione redox cycle, increases NAD+ content and decreases the NADH+H+/NADP+ ratio, helping it play an important role in protecting the body from oxidative stress. (Study)
How to Use Thyrite:
- Take 3 capsules with a meal
- Thyrite can be taken at any time of the day
- Some customers find the ashwagandha relaxing, in which case Thyrite could be taken at the end of the day
- Some customers find the ashwagandha stimulating, in which case Thyrite could be taken in the morning
- Studies suggest the adaptogenic herbs in Thyrite are most effective in a 5 days on, 2 days off regimen
