And much more...

The collagen breakdown.

Amino acids help you break down food, grow, and repair body tissue along with many other functions.

Bovine Collagen - Types I & III

Most collagen supplements are sourced from cows due to their rich supplies of the non-essential amino acids glycine and proline.

Chicken Collagen - Type II

Chicken collagen provides glucosamine and chondroitin, both of which have anti-aging effects. †

Fish Collagen - Type I

Fish collagen is rich in non-essential amino acid hydroxyproline

Eggshell Collagen - Types I, III, IV, X

Eggshell collagen is rich in the non-essential amino acid hyaluronic acid.

By supplementing with zuCOLLAGEN just once per day, you fill your body with the amino acids it needs to see improved results with your hair, skin, nails, digestion and immune system.

Nutritional Information

How protein works.

Protein is a macronutrient that your body needs to stay healthy and operate. When protein is digested and broken down, you are left with amino acids - the building blocks of protein. Amino acids help you break down food, grow and repair body tissue along with many other functions.

There are 9 essential amino acids and 11 non-essential amino acids. While both types are critical for your body, there is a key difference between the two:

Essential amino acids are those your body cannot produce or store by itself.

Non-essential amino acids are those that your body can create when given enough essential amino acids.

Ingredients

Comparing Protein Sources.

Here's where our protein supplement sources stray from one another:

Whey Protein: Whey is a complete protein, meaning it contains all 9 essential amino acids.

Collagen Protein: Collagen lacks tryptophan, one of the essential amino acids. While it is not "complete", collagen contains a high concentration of several important non-essential amino acids.

Plant Protein: Plant-based protein often falls behind whey and collagen, lacking as many essential and non-essential amino acids.

Why You Need Collagen More Than Whey:

Another key difference is the availability of these protein sources in food.

The amount of whey protein needed for an adequate amount of essential amino acids can be easily obtained through a diet containing meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy.

Collagen, on the other hand, is harder to come by. While animals are often the source of collagen, collagen is found in the bones and skin of these animals.

These pieces of the animal are often ignored - we eat the muscle meats, which are largely devoid of collagen.

This is why, while whey is a complete protein, it is more worth your while to supplement with collagen.

Ingredients

How zuCOLLAGEN Helps:

When choosing a collagen supplement, you must consider the form, the types and the sources.

Collagen supplements come in one of three forms - hydrolyzed, gelatin or raw. Hydrolyzed collagen is preferred, as this form is broken down into its component amino acids.

There are 26 different types of collagen, each with their own unique structures. Humans can benefit from Types I, II, III, IV and X.

Most collagen supplements are sourced from bovine (cows) due to their rich supplies of Types I and III. Other animal sources have their own unique individual benefits.

zuCOLLAGEN checks all the boxes. In one scoop you get the 5 key types of hydrolyzed collagen from 4 unique sources.

Excellent

Based on over 800 reviews

I have been taking this for almost a year and will not start my day without it! My skin is glowing at 57 and I feel GREAT!

Brenda - Results may vary from person to person.

I have been taking your collagen product for several months now. Overall I have received benefits and both my nails and skin. For several years I had problems with my fingernails splitting down the middle. After using your product my nails got much thicker and stronger. I also noticed a difference in my skin. I'm at the age where I have creepy skin. Taking the collagen on a regular basis greatly reduced the appearance of creepy skin. My skin seem to have more hydration and more elasticity.

James K. - Results may vary from person to person.

I specifically got umzu collagen to improve my recovery time and improve my joint health...it has done just that! Before taking this product I was experiencing tendonitis in both my elbows... within 2 weeks my tendonitis disappeared and has not come back since. My shoulders and knees have improved too! Overall my joints are much healthier and stronger since using umzu collagen protein. Also chocolate brownie flavor is delicious!!

Justin H. - Results may vary from person to person.
